Why did we create our own tack?

Years of experience in understanding horses, equipment, and the challenges people face with their horsemanship gave us good reason. So that’s what we did – we built tack that considers the horse, and made it easy to use, durable, long- lasting and good looking, Canadian made. We have found that using the proper tools for the job makes the difference – and cuts down on the amount of gear you need in the first place!

The Horse Ranch Tack has been custom made to our high standards, then tried and tested by us “in the field” - under the toughest of conditions with intense amounts of use, leaving us confident to offer a one year warranty to cover defective workmanship or materials. We need to be able to depend on our tack, and have it hold up its end of the bargain at the times when we need it the most.

You won’t find our products on any retail store shelf – at first glance some might look the same, but it’s the attention to detail that makes the differences and allow us to stand behind our warranty, like how we finish our rope ends so they will last – the special way we attach the leather ends to the Horseman’s Sticks, as well as the high quality/thickness of leather, wool, suede, rawhide, high grade yacht braid rope and other materials that go into our products.
